Muscular System Herbs
This page includes herbs that exhibit actions such as anodyne, analgesic, anti-spasmodic, vulnerary and more, but they also feature important constituents that directly effect muscle tissue like silicic acid, allantoin, flavonoids, etc. The herbs listed here do not fall under all of these categories or contain all of these constituents; with each herb I have included what its main effect would be on the muscular system and/or it’s main constituent. Keep in mind many of these herbs have even more effects on this system, and on many other systems in the body. Please see the Materia Medica page, or Teas & Guides, for more information on specific herbal actions.
